Very friendly service. Everything very fresh. Be sure to tune your dip at the counter to your taste. We found out half way through our session because i misunderstood some of the explanation. And that really made a big difference. Will go here again for sure.

This is solid hotpot. I went with a friend and we determined that it is best for groups of 4 or more so that you can try lots of things. The skewers are fresh and the dishes authentic. The spicy broth was a bit too spicy for us. The staff is very attentive - almost a bit too much. :)

As amazing the second time as it was the first. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Had a lovely dinner with friends.Must try the half and half soup base, lamb, squid, rice cakes, lotus, potato, quail eggs, and winter melon! 🤗

Authentic and delicious flavors. Terrific for a group up to 8 or 10. If you haven't had hotpot before they will walk you through the process. Highly recommended to check it out!

Such a good place if you want to try Sichuan style hot pot out, quite different from other Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam. Staff so sweet and they let you feel welcoming and just the same at home because of small details. Food tasting is also amazing. Definitely will come back again.

Pretty awesom place. Quite authentic. Good enough for Chengdu people to come here on regular basis but friendly and accesible enough for people to come and get into hot pot. It might be intimidating but the staff is great and will explain everything. The broths are fantastic and there is always extra spice if you can handle it. The ingredients are nice and fresh and the milk pudding is the perfect way to end your meal, it will cool you down!

Very friendly and helpful staff. But the place is extremely busy. Even with a reservation. And showing up early. We had to wait over an hour before a table freed up. Food was delicious and service was quick after we got seated

Best hotpot place in holland. The staff was super friendly and explained to us how it works. They constantly checked in on us to see if we needed adjustments to the hotpot temperature or soup spicyness. The selection of food to go in the hotpot was good. There everything from chicken heart to frog legs to pork blood to your normal things like sweet potato, cabbage, sliced beef etc. The price is also reasonable. We were 2 and we were stuffed after spending 55 euros.

Friendly stuff, good variety of skewers, ingredients taste fresh, the hot pot soup base is very spicy and authentic (also has none spicy soup base), price is pretty alright, the setup is clean (each table has a exhaust hood). Overall good!

Very nice place. The soup is delicious, you can choose between spicy, non spicy, vegetarian etc. They have a big variety of Chinese ingredients. Felt like home. The staff is very nice! We will come back.

Food is fresh, taste is traditional and service is wonderful. You can experience the chinese dining culture with your family or a big group of friends. The Chinese staffs are willing to share with you the Chinese stories and culture. You may even learn or practice Chinese here😆The spicy soup base is excellent, highly recommended 👍🏻 If you cannot eat too spicy, you may choose the less spicy. They also provide vegetarian soup base. If you are vegans, you can have seafood and a variety of Chinese vegetables and mushrooms.

Food was nice, the whole experience was really new and beautiful, it was our first time eating in a Korean restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful, especially regarding our questions to what's Halal and what's not. They have Halal chicken which is really nice, sea food and vegetarian options were nice also. They promised that they'll try to have more Halal options next time (we couldn't have the soup base something other than the vegetarian, and everything that's fried is NOT Halal as the oil has some pork ingredients). Definitely going to go again.

Great experience and wonderful staff! Caters to all preferences - veg, non veg, sea food, vegan. Very different concept.The only thing is that you need to love ramen and chinese-style eating. And if the staff misses to give you certain instructions, then you kind of mess it up. So, if you are a first timer, ask the staff each and everything 😊 Otherwise, everything awesome overall. Even my little girl enjoyed the experience

Great hotpot with excellent spicy Sichuan broth. They have a large variety of food to prepare in the broth at reasonable prices. Great for groups up to 6 it's a social dining experience.

Great place to enjoy fine Hot Pot. All the items are fresh and the staff very helpful. Caution on the spice broth, you can add as much as you want but can't take it away once its in. This is a fantastic place for groups that want a different dinning experience. There is much conversation and interaction between the good food and the people. And don't forget the fine staff assisting you.

It is the best place to have typical Sichuan hot pot in the Netherlands however it is a bit expensive. Remember to reserve otherwise there will be no seats left.

OMG, I read about this place in a magazine and decided to take the tram out to give it a try. What a great place and the staff walk you through the process of ordering, cooking . So you pick all the things you want to cook on a iPad. Its kind of like fondue but way better. My new favorite place in Amsterdam, now I can’t wait to go back! Try it you will love it.

Great place to eat hotpot. They have a variety of ingredients for the hotpot, all kinds of meats, fish products and vegetables. The soup is amazing and well flavoured. They serve three levels of spiciness and we ate the least spicy. This was spicy enough to give the food an extra kick. It was enjoyable spicy. The staff was also friendly and attentive.

Very nice and thoughtful hosts, great food and ambience. Ordering was super easy and fast. Authentic Sichuan style hotpot skewers and makes me miss my hometown! Love love love this place. Would come again without a doubt.

Amazing experience at Yuan Ji's traditional Chinese hot pot. So hot, so much food, so spicy (if you like). Really worth the trip. Frequented by Chinese and locals alike. Friendly and attentive staff. Try the crispy pork as a starter and choose how spicy you want the hot pot to be. Half spicy, half normal is nice.

I would defenitly recommend this place 5/5 for Hotpot. Great service, food quality and thoughtfull about specific diets. If you are going to eat Hotpot in Amsterdam, Yuan is the place for you!

Yuan’s Hot pot is really nice and delicious. The staffs are really nice and friendly. The food is very delicious, specially spicy beef (Chuan Chuan). However, I didn’t take that photos. Anyway, I really hope I can go back to eat again. Furthermore, booking the table before you plan to go to eat, because there are too many people and busy, even around 9pm. We are waiting for 30mins, but the restaurant is worth waiting, food is as well. I have to say “thanks”, because the delicious food and friendly staffs.

I went there with very high expectations, and this place well exceeded them! Aside from the delicious authentic hotpot, we were welcomed by a friendly crew that knows how to give you just the right amount of attention and care. I had a birthday arrangement and the owner helped make it an amazing one! They kept the cake that i brought in the fridge, arranged to have it as a surprise on the table, and offered us a free bottle of wine! The food was a great experience and the menu is rich with a variety that suits every taste. The place is cozy and comfortable. There is nothing about my experience here that I didn’t like. Great place, and great people.

Good food and a nice staff. It's a great experiencie! You are the one cooking your own food in the hotpot located on the center of your table, so you chose your own pace. Also, there are plenty of sauces and ingredients, so you can prepare your sauce too.
